Lifecycle NotesEggs are laid singly on host plant leaves. Larvae are typically striped with black and yellow, featuring fleshy filaments. Pupae are green, often with golden spots, and the adults emerge after metamorphosis.
Identification TipsDistinguished by its black wings with prominent bluish-white, semi-transparent spots and streaks. It is a Müllerian mimic of the Glassy Tiger (*Parantica aglea*), but the Blue Tiger generally has more extensive and brighter blue markings.
