Lifecycle NotesEggs are laid singly on host plant leaves. Larvae are small, green, and often associated with ants. Pupation occurs near the ground in leaf litter or at the base of host plants.
Identification TipsMales are typically bright blue with a narrow black border. Females vary from blue to brown, often with orange spots along the hindwing margin. The underside features characteristic black spots with white rings and orange lunules.
