Description
Two Japanese Small Whites (Pieris rapae), butterflies of the family Pieridae, are shown mating. Pieris rapae is one of the most widespread and common butterflies. Its natural range extends across temperate Eurasia, to the Arabian Peninsula, the Maghreb, Iceland, and Japan. It has also been introduced to North America.
