The Malachite Butterfly (*Siproeta stelenes*) is a striking brush-footed butterfly known for its brilliant green and black wing patterns. Its larvae feed primarily on plants from the Acanthaceae family, particularly *Ruellia* species. Adults are often seen nectaring on flowers or mud-puddling. Due to its widespread distribution and stable populations, it is classified as 'Least Concern'.
