Description

The Holly Blue is a small, delicate butterfly. Males are typically bright blue on the upperside, often with a narrow dark border. Females are generally blue with a broader black border on the forewings, which can sometimes extend to the hindwings. The underside is a pale silvery-blue or white, usually with small, faint black spots that may be absent.
