Description
A small butterfly with distinct sexual dimorphism. Males typically have iridescent blue upperwings, while females are brown, often with a row of orange spots along the hindwing margin. Both sexes are characterized by a prominent row of metallic blue-green spots (the 'silver studs') on the underside of the hindwings, usually bordered with orange lunules. The underside forewing is grey-brown with black spots.
