Description
The Small Copper is a vibrant, small butterfly characterized by its striking coppery-orange forewings adorned with prominent black spots and a dark border. Its hindwings are typically dark brown or grey, featuring a distinctive orange band along the termen and often a few black spots. The underside of the forewings is similar to the upperside but paler, while the hindwings are greyish-brown with small black spots. It is known for its rapid, darting flight.
