Description
The Eastern Tailed-Blue is a small butterfly known for its iridescent blue upperwings, particularly in males, and the distinctive small, hair-like 'tails' on its hindwings. Females are often duller blue or brownish. The underside of the wings is typically grayish-white with small black spots and often a few orange spots near the tails.
