Description
The Little Wood Satyr is a small, brownish-gray butterfly characterized by two prominent black eyespots on each hindwing and typically two smaller ones on the forewing, often ringed with yellow. The underside coloration is similar to the upperside but with more distinct markings and eyespots. It has a somewhat erratic, bouncing flight pattern.
