Lifecycle NotesEggs are laid on host plant leaves. Larvae are green with a humped back and a bifurcated tail, resembling a twig. Pupation occurs in a tough cocoon on the host plant or in crevices.
Identification TipsDistinguished by its larger size compared to 'Kitten' moths (genus Furcula) and its overall mottled grey-brown appearance. Males have prominent bipectinate (feather-like) antennae.
